THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION CONTRIBUTIONS  

Archbishop Thabo Makgoba and the Anglican Church of Southern Africa call on us to mark Theological Education Sunday and request that we make a special collection towards the work of the College of the Transfiguration (COTT). 

Bishop Oswald encourages us to make a special effort, also in thanksgiving for ordinands Wilfred and Martha from Kimberley and Kuruman, who are currently studying at COTT.

All Anglicans in Kimberley and Kuruman are called to make a donation of R10 per person. Parishes will deposit these amounts to the Diocese for forwarding for the work of COTT.

ORDINATION

The Revds Heather Steenkamp, Vusumuzi Mabuza, and Josephine Mekgoe, ordained to the priesthood at St Cyprian's Cathedral on Friday 17 June 2016. Bishop Oswald Swartz marked the ninth anniversary of his enthronement. Bishop Dintoe Letloenyane of the Free State assisted in the ordination.
